The Israeli containership operator aims to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, where it will trade under ticker symbol ZIM, in a move that, if successful, would break a long absence of shipping IPOs on US capital markets. The Haifa-based company did not give a timing for the IPO but pencilled in the aggregate value for the potential share sale at $100m.
