April is autism month – a month dedicated to promote awareness and support for families living with the condition.
Over the years, the Cochrane Times-Post has highlighted some family members to help inform and garner support for the daily difficulties that they face with a growing child with autism.

Many people in the community know Mathieu Mercier as he often accompanies his family in walks, while shopping or attending school.

Analysis: Children with ADHD and ASD are often rejected by their peers and can suffer poor self-esteem and a lack of self-worth because of this.
