The chief military spokesperson of Pakistan on Wednesday said that action has already been taken against the army officials who were responsible for the escape of former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan from their custody.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar, while speaking to foreign journalists at the ISPR office, said that the escape of Ehsan was a very serious matter and after a thorough investigation, action was taken against the responsible army officers.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The committee which is conducting a probe against vote trading by some members of provincial assembly (MPAs) in Senate election of 2018 has decided to summon the journalist who released the video .
The committee comprises of Federal Minister Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari, and Advisor to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar.
The committee has decided to investigate those who benefited from the votes and vowed to expose people who provided funds for buying of votes.

Three-member body to investigate leaked video, submit report to premier within 30 days
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday formed a three-member committee to probe a video allegedly showing lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf receiving bribes to vote against party lines in the 2018 Senate elections.
Comprising Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari and Adviser to the P.M. on Accountability Shahzad Akbar, the committee has been directed to conduct a thorough probe into the incident and submit a report with recommendations on how the government should proceed against the culprits in line with electoral and criminal laws. A notification issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said the committee had 30 days to complete its investigation and submit a report.
