Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said the government will change priorities for which states get more vaccine. The message is roll it out, and how much vaccine a state gets will now depend on how fast it’s getting used instead of population.
The State Department cited ongoing “transition efforts” with President-elect Joe Biden’s team as the reason behind the canceled visit. Biden will be inaugurated on Jan. 20.
