The White House is set to launch a vaccine campaign on social media that will promote the coronavirus vaccines among communities who are hesitant to take the jab. Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat will be assisting the Biden administration s promotional campaign, The Verge reported.
As part of the campaign, Dr. Fauci will participate and appear on Snapchat to target young people who are using the app, New York Post reported. The push for the social media blitz of the White House will commence on Monday, in support of President Biden s deadline for all states to make the COVID-19 vaccine eligible to Americans 16 years old and above.
Austin police identify former sheriff s detective accused of rape as suspect behind deadly shooting
A massive multi-agency manhunt including the FBI and U.S. Marshals was launched in Austin on Sunday for an armed former sheriff s detective wanted for killing at least three people near an apartment complex.
Austin police said that the three lifeless bodies were all adults, including two Hispanic females, and one Black male. They said they believe the suspect is Stephen Nicholas Broderick, who is a former Travis County Sheriff s Office detective that was charged with raping a 16-year-old girl last summer.
Austin s KXAN, citing an arrest affidavit, reported last June that the ex-detective was on administrative leave following an arrest for allegations of sexual assault.
