This week s Company Critter deserves a stable and loving home. Meet Avery! Hello, I m Avery. I m a sweet, shy girl searching for a loving home to settle down in. I ve got a gray dot because I m pretty nervous here at the shelter, so please take the time to know me. You will see what a sweet and lovable girl I am. I ll stay right by your side and check in with you when things make me nervous. If you could give me the love and patience I need to become a happy and confident doggy, I ll be an excellent companion.

This week s Company Critter will make you feel warm and cozy..just like the comforting Japanese dish he s named after.. meet ODEN! Oden is a 1 year old, sweet and affectionate 63 lb. Catahoula Leopard dog. He likes to lean on someone for attention and pets. He can be jumpy for attention so we think a family with older kids (10+) would be a great fit for his excitement level. He can pull on a leash when very interested in something but overall walks nicely. He hasn’t shown any issues with sharing food or treats. Oden likes the company of other dogs but prefers if they are calm like him! Here s the link to his bio at the Humane Society of Sarasota County.
