WCCB Charlotte s CW June 16, 2021 CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) will kick off a new fundraiser in collaboration with NoDa Brewing Company in July to raise money to support the mission of HSC. The online photo contest, Rescue Brew, will run through Saturday, July 31 and the winning pet photos will be announced on Friday, August 13. Members of the Charlotte community and beyond are encouraged to submit photos of their dogs or cats and compete for the Top Dog or Queen City Kitty title. The winning dog and cat photo will be featured on a limited edition can of Rescue Brew, a special beer brewed by NoDa Brewing Company especially for HSC. The special brew’s can will be designed and created by local Charlotte artist, Robert Wildermuth of Robert Bobby Art.
