Mango is our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Mango is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the COVID-19, but talked on the phone with me about Mango! This handsome, long-haired boy is such a fun, goofy cat, and SO full of purrsonality! Mango is talkative, adventurous, loves to wander and play, play, play. He s actually so confident and curious, that he even likes to get out of his kennel and explore our lobby when we have a slow day at the shelter! Mango is a pretty independent cat, so we think he would make the perfect office or shop companion as he loves his freedom and having room to roam!

Indy is our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Indy is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday Amy from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the COVID-19, but talked on the phone with me about Indy! Indy is a handsome 4-year-old pup who is whip-smart and eager to please! Before entering our care, this adventurous guy never had a home indoors, so he d love to find an owner who will have the time, patience, and experience to help him adjust to the new lifestyle of a spoiled indoor dog. If you re interested in adopting Indy, please visit our website at www.hswestmi.org

This Dog Has Never Had an Indoor Home! Can You Give Him One?

This Dog Has Never Had an Indoor Home! Can You Give Him One? I ve grown up with pets for the majority of my life so I couldn t imagine it any other way. Pets  bring so much joy into our lives but we also do the same for them, especially ones who don t have a home. I d like to introduce you to this handsome pup named Indy. Indy is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who has never lived in a home indoors until he was recently taken in by the Humane Society of West Michigan. The staff at the Humane Society describe him as smart and eager to please. Because he s never been an indoor dog he needs an owner who can give him the time to adjust to a new living situation. However, I m sure once he gets spoiled he ll love what life on the inside is all about. Indy would do best in a home with older children and no other pets. Indy could make a wonderful pet for you. Hamilton is our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Hamilton is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday Amy from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the COVID-19, but talked on the phone with me about Hamilton! This adorable honey-baked hippo is as sweet as his nickname implies. He s a very loving pup and an extreme snuggler he likes to be around his people at all times! This 3-year-old meatball head is bouncy and fun, has loads of energy, and is up for any adventure! He would do best in an only-pet home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play with his people. Poor Hammy has been in and out of our care for two years, and the only thing on his wish list is a furever home for the holidays! Because he is one of our long-term pets, Hamilton is also FEE-WAIVED to adopt! If you re interested in adopting Hamilton, please visit our website at https://www.hswestmi.org/

Sunny is our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Sunny is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the COVID-19, but talked on the phone with me about Sunny! This long-haired, creamsicle-colored beauty is a sensitive soul who is building her confidence in her cozy foster home, where she enjoys coming out to play when the house is quiet and calm. Sunny needs time to feel safe, but she enjoys the company of other cats and may do best in a home with another, more confident cat who can show her the ropes! What she really needs is a compassionate adopter who will give her time to blossom, and celebrate the small victories along the way!
