A Tobyhanna woman was arrested on Thursday on attempted homicide charges after allegedly shooting a man following an argument, Pocono Mountain Regional Police said. Zasha Sanchez, 32, of Tobyhanna, allegedly shot Norman Kirkland on Wednesday in the chest at a home on Ventor Drive, Tobyhanna, police said. When police arrived they arrived they found Kirkland suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Police said they had previously been called to the home for a domestic dispute that did not involve any violation of the law. Investigators determined that during the argument Sanchez pulled a handgun and shot Kirkland. At the time, police said, children were in the home and near the shooting.
