Two students originally from Monroeville have made the dean’s list at their colleges for the 2020 fall semester.
To be named on the dean’s list, students typically need to carry a 3.5 GPA under 12 or more credits.
• Jonelle Menner: She is a senior at Hamilton College in New York, majoring in sociology. She graduated from Oakland Catholic High School.
• Megan Coates: She is a full-time student at Cedarville University in Ohio.

A man who pleaded guilty last year to firing more than a dozen shots into a Monroeville Mall entrance during a fight told an Allegheny County judge on Thursday he regretted his actions and he would do whatever he could to turn his life around.
