Up to 50 new jobs to be created in Cork as H&MV Engineering announce new office location

Maeve Lee H&MV ENGINEERING has announced the opening of a new office branch in Cork which will see up to 50 new positions created.
H&MV Engineering, who are leading specialists in High Voltage Engineering services, today announced the opening of the new office branch in Little Island.
The company said that it has seen extensive growth and expansion both nationally and globally in recent years.

Funded by Enterprise Ireland, Munster Technological University (MTU) will spend €3.5m over the next five years on the New Frontiers Programme to support hundreds of entrepreneurs and to deliver 75 new companies in the South West Region. This is a substantial injection of funding for the New Frontiers programme and is a recognition of its broad reach across the South West with delivery being available on both MTU campuses, The Tom Crean Business Centre in Tralee, and The Rubicon Centre in Cork.

A Cork hotel has paid tribute to a staff member who lost his life in a tragic accident in West Cork at the weekend.
Conor King, from Douglas, died after he fell down a 50 foot cliff blow-hole near the Old Head of Kinsale on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old was a third year student at Munster Technological University (MTU) studying for his Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering.

A STUDENT WHO tragically died when he fell in to a blow hole from cliffs near the Old Head of Kinsale will be laid to rest what would have been his 23rd birthday.
Conor King, 22, of Broadale, Douglas, Cork died when he fell at Garrettstown beach in West Cork.
The grieving family of Conor are asking mourners to donate to West Cork Rapid Response and West Cork Underwater Search and Rescue in lieu of flowers.
The alarm was raised at 11.30pm on Saturday. Conor’s body was recovered from the sea shortly afterwards following the efforts of the emergency services.

THE funeral of a young college student who died after falling off a cliff will take place on his birthday on Wednesday.
Conor King, 22, died instantly from traumatic head injuries after he fell 15 metres.

He had been looking at water gushing from a blowhole near Garretstown Beach in Co Cork last Saturday night.
Conor, who would have celebrated his 23rd birthday, was with a gang of pals who were camping on a cliff top when the horrific accident happened.
