Man with memory loss reported missing in York County

Police in York County are looking for an older adult with mulitple medical conditions and memory loss who went missing from his home Wednesday morning.
West Manheim Township police said 76-year-old Dana Gene Stone unexpectedly left his home in his vehicle around 10 a.m.
Stone may be lost due to a disability and his memory loss, police said.
Stone is described as being 5 foot 6 inches tall and 160 pounds. He is bald and wears glasses.

A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle while crossing a Manheim Township street late at night has been charged after he became violent toward the driver, according to the Manheim Township Police Department.
Robert Divine Gonzalez, 23, who is homeless, was charged with assault, criminal mischief and failure of a pedestrian to exercise care after he was struck by a passing vehicle in the 1000 block of North Duke Street at 11:23 p.m. on March 5, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Gonzalez first jumped on the hood of the Volvo that struck him as he crossed the street at a section where there is no crosswalk and stomped on the windshield, shattering it and causing $500 worth of damage, police said.

A $6,000 a year residential and business surveillance camera registry that is on city police platform was given a positive recommendation Tuesday by City Council’s public safety committee.
Crimewatch, if approved by City Council, will cost the city $3,000 a year, with half the cost paid for by Lycoming County District Attorney Ryan Gardner, city Police Chief Damon R. Hagan said.
The interactive site includes a digital platform giving the ability to give police crime tips, provide the public information on how to and who to contact for specific crimes, and allow those with surveillance cameras to register their home and business cameras to assist police in solving crimes or investigations.
