(ABC 6 News) - Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin has revealed the top boy and girl baby names from 2020.
Grayson was the overall top chosen name and the most chosen boy name. Everly led the way for girl names in 2020. In 2019, Everly tied with six other names for the top spot. Grayson is 15th in boy s names chosen nationwide, while Everly is listed 65th overall for girls, according to BabyNames.com. The Family Birth Center in Austin was also busier, compared to the rest of Mayo Clinic Health System. The newly remodeled floor, which allows families to remain in the same location for triage, labor, delivery and postpartum care, had the third most deliveries among all Mayo Clinic Health System locations.
Usually, the most popular baby names sit at the top of the list for a few years. This year, a new set of names rose to the top of Mayo Clinic Health System's list in La Crosse.

LA CROSSE Wis. (WKBT) – This year many of us couldn’t gather with family on Christmas.
But for one mother and daughter, the pandemic gave them an opportunity they’ve rarely had in the past.
Meg Bonadurer, an RN at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, normally spends the holiday on the 7th floor of the hospital, while her mother, Kitty Maxwell Bonadurer, spends the day at home.
Kitty is a nurse in the general surgery clinic and hasn’t worked on a hospital floor for many years.
Collaborative: La Crosse area COVID-19 case rate remains in the red

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) The rate of new COVID-19 cases remains concerning, according to the Coulee COVID-19 Collaborative, which noted that this past week saw multiple clusters from work-related exposures.
The collaborative which includes the La Crosse County Health Department, Mayo Clinic Health System and Gundersen Health System tracked 384 new cases this past week and 46 were linked to a workplace outbreak.
The group recommends people stay home from work and seek out a COVID-19 test if they are feeling ill.
La Crosse County saw eight residents die of COVID-19 over the past week and the case fatality rate remains significantly higher among seniors. A total of 53 residents have died since the pandemic began.

DRIFTLESS - Over the past week COVID-19, diagnoses statewide increased from 438,895 on Monday, Dec. 14 to 458,612 on Monday, Dec. 21. That is a statewide increase of 19,717 cases. The number of deaths increased from 4,068 to 4,425, an additional 357 deaths, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
