Police release name of woman killed in Saturday crash

A woman was killed in a Saturday night crash in Northwest Rochester.
Rochester Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 18th Avenue Northwest and Crimson Ridge Drive Northwest shortly after 9 p.m.
Police said the driver of a southbound Jeep Wrangler rear-ended a Toyota Camry that had turned south onto 18th Avenue Northwest.
Joharmi Rubio, 24, a passenger in the Toyota, was found unresponsive at the scene. First responders attempted CPR on her, but were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

AUSTIN, Minn. A 27-year-old man was ordered held on $500,000 conditional bail after one person died in a stabbing Tuesday morning, Dec. 15, in Austin, Minn.
Jaime Arquimides Vaca, of Austin, is charged with:
second-degree murder not premeditated;
attempted second-degree murder not premeditated with intent;
and first-degree assault great bodily harm.
Vaca made his first appearance in court Wednesday morning, Dec. 16. Judge Jeffrey Kritzer set conditional bail at $500,000 and unconditional bail at $1 million. Vaca s next court appearance is Dec. 28.

AUSTIN One person is dead following a stabbing in Austin on Tuesday morning, and the 27-year-old man alleged to have caused the death was ordered held on $500,000 conditional bail.
Jaime Arquimides Vaca is charged with second-degree murder-not premeditated, second-degree murder-while committing a felony-without intent, attempted second-degree murder-not premeditated-with intent and first-degree assault-great bodily harm.
