(ABC 6 News) A Rochester man could face charges following a fatal crash on Saturday.
It happened on the 2400 block of 20th Street SE around 10:30 p.m. on May 15.
According to Rochester Police, 41-year-old Will Hanson of Rochester was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup west on 20th Street. Hanson told police a person appeared on the road and he didn t have time to stop before hitting the person.
When authorities arrived on the scene, the victim, 48-year-old Joseph Rodriguez of Rochester, was on the road. Hanson was still at the scene.
Rodriguez was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, where he was pronounced dead.

This is the first of several authorizations needed for Mayo Clinic to vaccinate children in this age group for COVID-19.
According to Mayo Clinic, the next steps include a review and recommendation from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which is meeting Wednesday, May 12, and a final adoption recomamendation from Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Mayo Clinic locations across the Midwest are prepared to vaccinate children 12 and older, and will move forward based on state health department vaccine distribution plans. The Minnesota and Wisconsin health departments anticipate the first doses of COVID-19 vaccines for children to be available this week.
2 men from Hackensack killed in separate crashes in outstate Minnesota

Two men from Hackensack in north-central Minnesota were killed in separate crashes Friday near Austin and Hackensack.
Lemoyne L. Kraushaar, 87, died after his minivan hit a tree off Interstate 90 near Austin, Minn., just before noon Friday.
Kraushaar was westbound on I-90 near W. Oakland Av. at 11:56 a.m. when his vehicle went off the road and hit a tree, the Minnesota State Patrol said. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Austin. He was wearing a seat belt and alcohol was not involved, the patrol said.
