Witnesses said the suspects were seen leaving in a white, newer model car, which was later located by deputies.
In a May 24 news release, the Sheriff’s Office said the owner of the vehicle told deputies he was not using it at the time of the shooting. Investigators spoke with two individuals who were in the vehicle and who have reportedly provided further details.
Based on witness interviews, investigators believe that the occupants of two other vehicles seen on video surveillance, a convertible and a large SUV, also could have important information.

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting outside a Destin nightclub Friday morning, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff s Office release.
About 3:30 a.m., OCSO deputies and investigators responded to reports of multiple shots fired outside Coyote Ugly on Harbor Boulevard in Destin.
Deputies found two victims in the parking lot. One person was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Deputies attempted lifesaving measures on a second victim, but the man died at the scene.
The driver then left the apartment complex, ran a red traffic light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Conservation Trail.
The driver continued north on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The woman driving the second vehicle was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with serious injuries.
According to the FHP, the suspect appeared to be a young white or Hispanic male with dark hair and an average build.

“It was Identity Thief, I will never forget the movie,” Forest said.
She looked all over the house but couldn’t find it. Matthews told her he would come back about 10 or 10:30 p.m. when her husband got off work. He never showed.
“A little after midnight is when me and my husband got the call that he got shot and was at the hospital and was going to die,” Forest said.
Matthews was living at the Rene Lynn Apartments on Woodham Street. Previous reports state that two Black men knocked on his door about midnight. When Matthews opened it, the men came in and shot him in the upper body.
Travaess Mclemore of Fort Walton Beach has been charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, trafficking in cocaine, and trafficking in heroin, according to a OCSO press release.
Two narcotics search warrants were executed at units in a complex located on Pelham Road on Monday after several neighbors reported suspected narcotics activity, the OCSO said.
Deputies reportedly discovered 97 grams of cocaine and 58 grams of heroin inside a safe under Mclemore’s bed in the first unit.
Deputies then located a stolen revolver in the kitchen while searching the second unit, according to a report.
Mclemore would come and go from the second unit, but often went there to gamble and play video games with friends, the report said.
