WASHINGTON – The private firms auditing Maricopa County elections told senators Thursday they have finished reviewing the more than 2 million ballots, but will not be able to deliver a complete report without cooperation from county officials.

Misinformation site Gateway Pundit dominates coverage of Maricopa County s election audit; grabs over five percent of all social media engagement on news articles.
As purveyors of mis- and disinformation related to the 2020 elections have turned their attention to a partisan audit of ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona, one website has played an outsized role in promoting the story and spreading related false claims The Gateway Pundit.
