UPDATE! At approximately 1:45pm on January 21, 2021, Ziair E. Green turned himself over to police custody at the Marion Police Department and was subsequently transported to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility. Formal court proceedings will be forthcoming and there are no further details to release at this time.
On January 18, 2021 around 10:41 p.m., officers from the Marion Police Department responded to the 120 block of South Seffner Avenue for a reported shooting call. Upon their arrival, they found 43-year-old Ricco D. McGhee who had been shot and seriously injured. McGhee was transported to Marion General Hospital where he died from his injury.

INDIANAPOLIS Police made an arrest in a kidnap and murder from the northwest side Jan. 3.
William Ballard, 31, was arrested by IMPD on Monday. Police believe he killed 35-year-old James Greenberg in the 2000 block of West Coil Street, near West 64th Street and Michigan Road. Greenburg had been shot and was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.

Ballard was arrested on charges of murder, kidnapping, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, intimidation, and domestic battery. The Marion County Prosecutor s Office will make a final decision on charges.

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) The Speedway Police Department has arrested a man for a woman’s murder.
Police have arrested 41-year-old Loubens Fradet in the case.
Investigators believe he shot and killed a woman in the 2700 block of Embassy Row on Dec. 30. That’s at the Brickyard Flats apartment complex.
Officers were dispatched just before 2:30 a.m. The woman, who has been been publicly identified yet, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the woman was 45-years-old.
A charging decision will be made by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
On 12/30/20 Loubens Fradet, age 41, was arrested on a preliminary charge of murder as a result of a death investigation at the Brickyard Flats Apartments. Hannibal Man Arrested Sunday for Probation Violation
A Hannibal man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Sunday.
Hannibal Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Paris just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
A short time later, officers stopped a suspect vehicle at Heyward and Ernest Streets and took 36 year old Adam McCloud into custody on an outstanding warrant for probation violation.
An investigation revealed that McCloud had discarded a bag containing items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine in a nearby wooded area.
McCloud was taken to the Marion County Jail on the warrant, with further charges pending a review by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
