View Comments A Gary man has been convicted of murder in a fatal 2020 shooting at a west-side Indianapolis home during a dispute between roommates. A jury declared Lyman Spurlock guilty of murder in Leeshawn Parker s death after a three-day trial, the Marion County Prosecutor s Office announced Monday. Prosecutors said an argument between roommates preceded the shooting and centered around Parker coming to the home as a guest. The dispute, officials said, “led to several individuals being in one of the bedrooms” before Spurlock shot Parker twice in the head. A 12-year-old was inside the house at the time of the shooting, prosecutors said.
