Police: Husband and wife dead in apparent murder-suicide in Marion

Updated: 12:24 PM EST December 27, 2020 MARION, Ohio The Marion Police Department says a husband and wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide. Officers responded Saturday around 5:15 p.m. to a report of two people who were found dead inside a garage at a home on East Center Street. Authorities have identified the two people as 42-year-old Amy Berry and 44-year-old Max Berry. According to police, the couple lived at the home. Police say Max Berry shot and killed his wife before killing himself. “This is a horrible tragedy in every conceivable way, said Marion Police Major Jeff Clewell. The bodies of Amy and Max Berry have been taken to the Lucas County Coroner s Office for autopsies. An official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Marion County Coroner s Office.

Center Street Marion. The deceased persons were determined to a be a married couple who were also residents of the home. Marion PD Investigators, working in conjunction with the Marion County Coroner’s Office conducted an investigation at the scene and identified the deceased as Amy Berry, age 42 and Max Berry, age 44. “This is a horrible tragedy in every conceivable way”, said Major Jeff Clewell, Commander of the MPD Criminal Investigations Division. “While this investigation is still in its’ infancy, the early details indicate that Mr. Berry shot and killed his wife prior to turning the gun on himself”.

IMPD investigates shooting that killed woman on northwest side

Updated: 6:50 PM EST December 21, 2020 INDIANAPOLIS IMPD homicide detectives are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning in an apartment complex near St. Vincent Hospital on the city s northwest side. Just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 8400 block of Spyglass Drive on a report of a person shot. Police located a woman who appeared shot. Medics took the woman, 28-year-old Kiera Brinkley, to the hospital, where she passed away. Police have not shared any suspect information or what may have led to the shooting.
