Medical examiner identifies young couple killed in Burnsville crash The 22-year-olds were boyfriend and girlfriend. Author: Credit: GoFundMe The victims of a double-fatal crash in Burnsville on April 4 were identified Thursday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office.  The crash happened on County Road 42 at Newton Ave. around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The victims killed in the crash were both 22 years old: Tayler Nicole Garza, of River Falls, Wisconsin, and Dalton Lee Ford, of Prescott, Wisconsin.  Ford was driving the vehicle when the crash occurred, according to the medical examiner. According to the Department of Public Safety, Ford was making a turn when their SUV was struck on the passenger side by one of two racing cars in the east-bound lanes of the divided highway.

Lindsey Thomas, a semi-retired forensic pathologist with more than 35 years of experience, began the 10th day of trial proceedings in the high-profile case. Forensic and other medical professionals have been a mainstay during the latter part of this week’s testimony, with the prosecution focused on Floyd s cause of death on May 25. 3:50 p.m. Judge Peter Cahill told the jury that the next witness is a medical doctor, but they won t have time to complete his testimony Friday. He adjourned early and told the jury to return at 9:30 a.m. Monday, after he and the attorneys sort out legal issues.
