Created: March 11, 2021 09:22 AM The man who died after a shooting in south Minneapolis near George Floyd Square on Saturday has been identified. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office identified the man as 30-year-old Imaz Patrick Wright. His cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death was ruled as a homicide. Minneapolis Police said officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation near 38th Street East and Chicago Avenue South at 5:45 p.m. By the time officers arrived, the two victims had already been taken to a hospital. One of the victims later died.
