Man dies at hospital after Minneapolis shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A man died at the hospital following a shooting in Minneapolis Thursday night.
Around 5:50 p.m., officers with the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 1600 block of West Broadway. While in route, the officers learned a man had been shot.
Officers arrived and located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in critical condition. He later died at the hospital.
The police department’s homicide unit is investigating.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim as well as his manner and cause of death at a later date.

A man in his 30s was found dead in a University of Minnesota frat house Tuesday.
Police were called to the property on the 500 block of 10th Avenue SE at 2:50 p.m., on a report of a possible overdose, according to a Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson.
The man, who has not been identified by authorities, was declared dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Theta Tau is a co-ed fraternity for engineers, and was founded at the University of Minnesota in 1904.

Minneapolis police are investigating a suspicious death at a University of Minnesota fraternity house.
They responded to a report of a possible overdose at the 500 block of SE. 10th Avenue at about 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, according police spokesman John Elder. Officers found a man in his 30s dead.
Homicide investigators were on the scene as is customary with suspicious deaths, according to Elder.

Man found dead at fraternity house near University of Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A man was found dead at the Theta Tau fraternity house near the University of Minnesota, according to Minneapolis police.
Police responded Tuesday at 2:50 p.m. at the house on the 500 block of 10th Avenue SE for a reported overdose. When they arrived, they found a deceased 32-year-old man.
It is unclear at this time if the man was a student. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office will release the identification and the cause of death.
Theta Tau is a co-ed fraternity for engineers, which started at the U of M in 1904.
