Bloomington school district employee charged with molesting boys in 1970s By FOX 9 Staff BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) - A Bloomington Public Schools employee is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly molesting boys that lived in his neighborhood in the 1970s.   The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that Kevin Belker, 65, has been charged with first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual conduct against two victims under the age of 13 who lived in his neighborhood at the time.  According to the criminal complaint, Bloomington Public Schools notified police in November of a complaint that a current employee in the district had been involved in a sexual assault in the 1970s. Police followed up and learned Belker had allegedly sexually assaulted several victims that lived in his neighborhood between 1973 and 1980.

Malik Beasley Enters Guilty Plea On Violence Charge

Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley has entered guilty plea for threats of violence stemming from a late September incident, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports (via Twitter). As part of the agreement, felony drug charges lodged against him were dismissed, his attorneys Steven Haney and Ryan Pacyga told Charania (Twitter link). Beasley’s potential incarceration, or home confinement, will not exceed 120 days and will be served at end of this season. Upon successful completion of probation, the threat of violence charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor, Charania adds. The guilty plea will likely result in league discipline against Beasley. The league typically awaits the outcome of court proceedings before taking action.
