Vaccinations throughout the Central Division for all persons 18 years and older who have not yet received their first dose will begin today, May 24, 2021.
Permanent Secretary for Health and Medical Services Dr James Fong confirmed this in his COVID-19 statement update issued yesterday.
Dr Fong said they will conduct vaccinations all this week beginning today throughout the Central Division.
He said they have arranged for vaccination centres at well-known fixed locations and they will also deploy mobile vaccination teams in some areas.

In a sad case of Fijians turning on Fijians, The Pearl South Pacific Resort has had to pull out of Government initiative to be an isolation facility, at the eleventh hour.
Government has announced that they want families of positive cases to live with dignity in places with good facilities, rather than in schools where facilities are shared.
