UpdatedTue, Dec 29, 2020 at 11:07 am ET Reply Coastal Medical employees recently raised funds to donate over 49,500 pounds of food through the Rhode Island Community Food Bank in an effort to end hunger in Rhode Island. Contributions from Coastal employees were matched dollar-for-dollar by the organization, which resulted in a donation of over $16,500. This was accomplished through Coastal s Charity and Community Service Initiative, which formed in January 2019. Access to healthy food options is more important than ever this year, said Shannon Boyd, the Charity Initiative Leader and Medicaid Accountable Entity Program Manager at Coastal Medical.
