Authorities in San Jose, California, late Wednesday night identified a ninth victim from a gunman s morning attack at a local transit agency facility.
The ninth person killed was identified as Alex Ward Fritch, age 49, the Santa Clara County medical examiner and coroner s office confirmed, according to FOX 2 of the Bay Area. Fritch died hours after the gunfire, after being transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, FOX 2 s Greg Lee reported.
In all, 10 people died in the incident because the gunman turned his weapon on himself, authorities said earlier Wednesday.
