During the assault, he also caned the boy s open palms with a walking stick before finally stopping when he saw his son s blood spatter over the kitchen floor.  In 2015, Okunuga s name was ordered to be erased from the medical register after he was found guilty of serious professional misconduct by a disciplinary panel.
