Buddy Valastro is giving his favorite healthcare workers a little sugar.
To show his appreciation to the doctor who saved his hand following his bowling accident, the Cake Boss built a towering cake to emulate the hospital where he was treated. This week, he presented the fondant masterpiece to the staff of Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Not by coincidence, the top of the cake features a hand giving a thumbs up, a nod to Buddy s injury. Check out the super special cake I made for Dr. Michelle Carlson, the nurses and staff at @hspecialsurgery as a token of my immense appreciation, he wrote on Instagram. It replicates the main hospital there in #NYC.
