NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Once again, the Deep East Texas Trauma Service Areaâs COVID-19 hospitalizations were more than 15 percent of the TSAâs total capacity, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Saturday, the DSHS reported that the Deep East Texas Trauma Service Area, or TSA H, had a hospitalization rate of 18.87 percent. It marked the fifth day in a row that the TSA was above the 15 percent threshold.
COVID-19 hospitalizations have remained above 15 percent of total capacity for the hospitals in the trauma service area that includes Smith and Gregg counties for 12 days straight.
