TRENTON, NJ The Hamilton Township Police Division (HPD) assisted in the Thursday morning arrest of a Trenton man allegedly found with a large stockpile of heroin and crack cocaine. Under the command of the Prosecutor s Special Investigations Unit, a search warrant was executed at an apartment at 113 Centre Street in Trenton at approximately 5:25 a.m. on Thursday. The target of the investigation, Frederick Hostick, 37, of Trenton, was located in the rear bedroom of his home and detained.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force seized $40,000 in drugs, $17,000 in cash and a handgun during an arrest Thursday, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Frederick Hostick, 37, from Trenton was charged with numerous narcotic and weapons-related offenses.
According to the prosecutor, around 5:25 a.m. on Thursday members of the Mercer County Prosecutor s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff s Office, the Hamilton Police Division, the Trenton Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, under the command of the prosecutor s Special Investigations Unit, made a warrant search at an apartment at 113 Centre Street in Trenton.

A man was charged with murder in a May 2020 shooting in Trenton after witnesses helped identified the alleged gunman, authorities said Thursday.
Bobby Vazquez, 41, also faces counts of weapons offenses and was being held at the Mercer County jail, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, who said his office filed a motion to have the city man remain in custody pending a trial.
The attack occurred May 23 around 1:40 p.m. on Brunswick Avenue in Trenton, where police rushed to an alert from the city’s gunshot detection system, Shot Spotter, according to the county prosecutor’s office.

Authorities have arrested two people and released chilling details of a deadly Trenton shooting from earlier this month.
Surveillance tapes show that a man later identified as Nasir White, 24, drove a gold Honda Accord onto Chase Street, then stopped in the middle of the road around 3:30 p.m. Dec. 8, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
The driver then got out, walked to the back seat driver side and shot 43-year-old Joel Alexander in the head, Onofri said. White then dragged Joel onto the pavement, got back in the car where Monet Maiden, 22, was waiting for him, and drove away, the prosecutor said.
