FBI agents, Homeland Security at Robbinsville Hindu temple
ROBBINSVILLE FBI and Department of Homeland Security agents descended Tuesday morning at a large Hindu temple.
Agents showed up at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir on Main Street in before 8 a.m. and plan to be there the rest of the day, according to township spokesman John Nalbone.
He said Robbinsville police and the Mercer County Prosecutor s Office were not involved in the activity.
“The FBI is there on court authorized law enforcement activity. No further comment, FBI spokeswoman Doreen Holder told New Jersey 101.5 in an email.
The temple and its headquarters in Piscataway on Tuesday morning did not respond to New Jersey 101.5 s request for more comment.
Two New Jersey officers are facing steep punishments for a social media post that likened Black Lives Matter protesters to terrorists.
Speaking on “Fox & Friends First,” former Officer Sara Erwin said she was terminated following an investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office which determined no criminal behavior took place leaving the department to issue its own punishment.

Mercer County man arrested on child pornography charges

MERCER COUNTY – On Tuesday, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced
the arrest of 51-year-old Glen D. Sharrock of 3601 State Route 703 lot
57 in Celina, Ohio, in relation to a child pornography case.
Grey
advised that his office was contacted by the Ohio Internet Crimes
Against Children (ICAC) on April 20. Sheriff’s Office Detectives then
opened an investigation. The investigation resulted in detectives
applying for several search warrants. Evidence recovered from the search
warrants were several sexually explicit photos of juveniles that were
linked to Sharrock’s media accounts.

Celina man jailed on child porn charges

CELINA A Mercer County man was taken into custody Tuesday on charges of possessing child pornography.
Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said Glen D Sharrock, 51, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at his residence at 3601 state Route 703, Lot 57, Celina.
Grey said his office was contacted by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children on April 20, and detectives from his office opened an investigation at that time. The investigation resulted in detectives applying for several search warrants. Evidence recovered from the search warrants included several sexually explicit photos of juveniles which were linked to Sharrock’s media accounts.
