Instagram is announcing a set of new features that will help curb online abuse on its platform. The Facebook-owned social media platform will give its users the ability to limit comments and DMs during spikes of increased attention. Offenders would be given stricter warnings right off the bat and the social media platform is also having a global rollout of its Hidden Words feature.
