Knives Out 2 Cast Adds Janelle Monae – /Film

The  Knives Out 2 cast is growing seemingly daily, and each new bit of casting is more exciting than the next. So far,  Edward Norton and Rian Johnson-directed sequel that brings back Daniel Craig‘s master sleuth Benoit Blanc. Now,  Janelle Monae has come on board as well. Like the previous two casting announcements, we don’t know who Monae is playing, but it’s safe to assume the sequel will once again assemble a big cast of characters and make them all suspects in a murder. Janelle Monae has inked on to appear in mystery sequel Knives Out 2, which stars Daniel Craig and is written and directed by Rian Johnson. The Kansas City native, 35, joins Dave Bautista and Edward Norton in the sequel to the 2019 motion picture, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Netflix has acquired the rights to two sequels in a deal estimated to be in the $469 million range, a record for streaming services amid the changing times, according to the outlet.
