From paddy terraces dotting rural Borneo, planted organically by farmers who close to 60% are women, to now a star ingredient at top KL restaurants, including the few who made it onto the latest extended list of Asia’s Best 50 Restaurants. I ask Lilian Chen, CEO of Langit Collective, whether there was a concerted effort to woo these acclaimed restaurants and their demanding chefs.

In a statement, Khazanah said the competition, themed ‘Enhancing Ageing Services for Malaysians’, sought to address current gaps in the industry and prepares the country as it heads towards Ageing Nation status by 2045, in which 15% of the Malaysian population will be aged 65 years old and above.
KIIC is an initiative by Khazanah Nasional Bhd and an expansion of Khazanah’s strategic investments mandate, including identifying new sectors to spur economic growth and boost the country’s competitiveness to deliver long-term sustainable wealth for Malaysians.
