KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 After going bald to raise funds to help the underprivileged in his constituency last year, Muar MP Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman is now offering online debate lessons to raise more funds to buy tablets.
In a post via his Facebook page today, the former youth and sports minister said money raised in his previous campaign totalling RM144,760 only bought 200 laptops.

The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) will know on Feb 4 whether it can proceed with its legal bid to be registered as a political party.
The High Court in Kuala Lumpur will decide on that date whether to grant leave to the group to commence with its judicial review against the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and the home minister.
This was confirmed by senior federal counsel Ahmad Hanir Hambaly @ Arwi, following today’s online hearing of the judicial review leave application before judge Mariana Yahya.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 25 The High Court here has set February 4 for the decision on Malaysian United Democratic Alliance’s (Muda) application for leave for judicial review on the Registrar of Societies’ (RoS) decision to reject the party from being registered as a political party.
High Court Judge Datuk Seri Mariana Yahya set the date today after hearing the arguments via online from Muda’s lawyers, represented by Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan and Lim Wei Jiet, as well as the counsels from Attorney General Chambers (AGC) representing the RoS and Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.
