Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Hard hit by the second wave of COVID-19 last month,
Pattaya City and Ko Lan in
Chon Buri province, eastern Thailand, have now been
declared COVID-19 free and are ready to welcome tourists back to their natural
attractions and beaches.
Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Manoch Nongyai has announced that Ko Lan island off
Pattaya’s coast has now been declared free of COVID-19 infections, following a
half month closure of the island to contain the spread.
Since 21st January, Ko Lan has reopened to tourists, with as many as 4,000
visitors over the past long weekend, and all accommodation on the island fully

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 15: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is set to launch MyDigital– the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint this Friday, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
MyDigital is a new and comprehensive approach to existing information and digital technology initiatives, including the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC); designed to become the foundation for the country’s transformation into a regional digital pulse by 2030.
