The Mountain Home High School athletic department will search for another leader for more of its teams. Bombers’ head baseball and golf coach Tim Carver is leaving the Twin Lakes Area to become the head baseball coach Springdale High School.
Carver has been leading the Mountain Home baseball program for the last four years. He has also directed the boys’ and girls’ golf teams for the last two seasons. Prior to his time with the Bombers, he was an assistant baseball coach at West Plains.
It will be a return to Northwest Arkansas for Carver. He played for the University of Arkansas baseball team from 2008 to 2012. He was a team captain and helped lead the Razorbacks to the College World Series. Carver played in the Philadelphia Phillies’ organization following his time at Arkansas.
