Former MCSO deputy Gullberg picked for Gresham police chief Travis Gullberg, Multnomah County Sheriff s Office veteran, takes reins in August. The city of Gresham has selected a candidate who grew up within the community to lead the police department after a nationwide search. On Monday morning, July 12, the city announced the hiring of Travis Gullberg to serve as the next Gresham Chief of Police. Mr. Gullberg has worked with Gresham Police for many years through his role at the Sheriff s Office, said Deputy City Manager Corey Falls. He brings years of law enforcement experience, a passion for community engagement, and a dedication to building community trust to this position.
