Jefferson Alumni offering scholarships
ZANESVILLE - Jefferson High School Alumni is accepting applications from Tri-Valley High School graduates for five $1,000 scholarships to help them continue their education at an accredited school. Information and applications are available at the school guidance office. Recipients will be announced at the senior awards banquet.
Gratiot Church offering turkey dinner
ZANESVILLE - A drive-thru turkey dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. March 27 at Gratiot Church, 345 South St., Gratiot. Cost is a donation to benefit church ministries.

ZANESVILLE - Robotics and Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery is the topic for the latest edition of the Sounds of Good Health podcast from Genesis HealthCare Systems.

ZANESVILLE - Dutro Ford is distributing free face masks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday. Each person can pick up 20 disposable masks while supplies last at the 135 S. Fifth St. dealership.
It s part of Ford s nationwide #FinishStrong initiative, a public call to action encouraging Americans to pull together, protect each other and save lives until the COVID-19 vaccines become more available. More than 90 other Ohio Ford dealerships are participating Tuesday.

Balderson holding press conference
ZANESVILLE - U.S. Rep. Troy Balderson (R-Zanesville) will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. Monday with staff and family members of residents at Middleton Senior Living, 1500, Weaver Drive, Granville.
Balderson will call for common-sense easing of visitor restrictions on long-term care facilities in light of widespread COVID-19 vaccinations among residents. Following the press conference, Balderson will speak with residents via teleconference so they may share their stories.

THORNVILLE - Names of dead 20th century military veterans who were born in, lived in, attended school in, worked in or are buried in Thorn Tonwship are being accepted for inclusion on the Thornville Veterans Memorial for 2021.
