WHIZ News Frazeysburg Man Charged with 5th OVI Offense th time with operating a vehicle while impaired.  Troopers say on February 2 nd, 57-year-old Mark Ethell of Frazeysburg was operating a vehicle on County Road 76 in Muskingum County when he traveled off the right side of the road striking a tree.  The Patrol says it was determined that Ethell was impaired by alcohol, drugs or a combination of them.  Ethell is scheduled to appear in Muskingum County Court on Friday at 9:00 am. 2 men hiding inside occupied home arrested by Cambridge Police Men were wanted on arrest warrants issued in Cuyahoga and Muskingum counties The Daily Jeffersonian Two men wanted on out-of-town arrest warrants were arrested by Cambridge police early Friday morning after allegedly breaking into a Beatty Avenue residence. Officers took Eric A. Adamik, 36, Cleveland Heights, into custody on a warrant from Cuyahoga County, and Aaron F. Norris, 36, Senecaville, on a warrant from Muskingum County. Adamik was wanted for failing to appear for an arraignment hearing in the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on felony charges of drug trafficking and possession of drugs.

Dec 28, 2020 Muskingum County Court Judge Mark Fleegle might want to take another look at his own judgment, after Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor was forced to remove him from two cases because of his careless attitude toward coronavirus prevention measures. One would be hard pressed to find a Buckeye State resident who does not understand we are under a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew, a statewide mask-wearing mandate and restrictions on gatherings of more than 10 people. But according to a complaint filed by a defense attorney, in Fleegle’s little corner of the judicial branch there was no mask mandate in his courtrooms, social distancing was limited, there was no discernible air circulation and no barriers between participants. The attorney reported during one recent trial “a significant number of jurors (three or four) never wore masks.”
