NORRISTOWN — Montgomery County officials have approved nearly $2 million in grants for county restaurants and food service businesses facing struggles during the coronavirus pandemic. County Commissioner Kenneth E. Lawrence Jr. announced on Wednesday that 194 grants, totaling $1.94 million, have been approved as part of the first round of the 2021 Montco Strong Restaurant Grant Program, which is jointly administered by the Montgomery County Commerce Department and The Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County. “Grants of $10,000 are being awarded to each qualifying business.
