MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is investigating two separate homicides that happened within hours of each other Sunday evening.
The first happened just after 5:20 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Court Street. Police and fire medics responded to the scene where they found Kendrick Turner, 34, of Montgomery. Turner was transported to an area hospital in life-threatening condition where he later died from his injuries.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Two people are facing charges after a robbery in Montgomery.
According to Capt. Saba Coleman, Lalin Sanderson, 22, and Stanley Wilson, 31, are each charged with first-degree robbery.
Coleman says the robbery happened Wednesday around 11:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Audubon Road.
The arrest affidavit indicated Sanderson and Wilson robbed a 65-year-old victim of his wallet, which contained about $700. During the robbery, one of the suspects used a handgun and hit the victim in the head.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A 21-year-old Montgomery man has been arrested and charged with two child sex crimes, according to court documents.
According to the filings, Tadarius Lee Salter went to the child’s home in the early hours of a Sunday morning in mid-December where he then sexually assaulted the victim.
Salter was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and one count of first-degree rape.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A suspect in a November Montgomery shooting case has been arrested, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Derius Burton, 31, was taken into custody Monday by the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
Burton is accused of shooting into an occupied vehicle around 9:30 on the night of Nov. 20. Police said the shooting happened in the 3000 block of South Mall Circle.
1 arrested in fatal Sunday night Montgomery shooting

A Montgomery man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting Sunday night.
Lt. Jarrett Williams said DHuntae Hardy, 28, faces charges of murder following the shooting death of Kendarries Swain, 24, of Montgomery.
The incident happened about 10:22 p.m. in the 200 block of Bradley Drive, Williams said. Police and medics found Swain suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Hardy was taken into custody at the site of the shooting. He is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $150,000 bond.
