Police Request Help in Locating Suspects in Multiple Silver Spring Car Thefts

The crimes occurred in the Central Business District of Silver Spring in multiple parking garages during the evening of Dec. 22. The suspects were reported breaking into a vehicle in a parking garage on Ellsworth Drive. A witness called police, but the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. The surveillance photos are of the suspects in Ellsworth Place Mall in downtown Silver Spring, prior to the thefts. Detectives believe that the suspects are involved in all or some of the 21 car thefts.
