Ohio s Second Phase of Vaccine Roll Out Starts Next Week

OHIO Gov. Mike DeWine’s plan to vaccinate as many Ohioans as possible is moving into the second part of Phase 1.

The COVID-19 vaccine will soon be available for the general public, starting with the elderly ages 80 and over next week
There is a limited supply of vaccines available across the state, but more are coming, so residents will have to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine
Local health departments are confident in the safety and efficacy of the vaccine
Phase 1B will allow Ohioans ages 65 and up to start receiving the vaccine.

FONDA As Montgomery County is presently in Phase 1A for distributing the vaccine which includes healthcare workers, they are preparing for the phase of distributing the vaccine to the general public through a survey.
Montgomery County is conducting a survey to receive information on those who are interested in being vaccinated once the county enters the phase when the general public is eligible to do so, according to the county’s Facebook page.

Completing this survey will help the county in regards to following up with those who are interested once the vaccine is made available to the general public.
