GARCIA. (FB photo) CEBU CITY – Travelers from Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, and Bohol will have to present a negative COVID-19 test when entering Cebu.
Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia issued Executive Order No. 22 on Independence Day ordering that travelers arriving in Cebu must show a negative RT-PCR test 72 hours before departure or a negative Rapid Antigen Test taken at least 48 hours before departure from the place of origin.
The EO took effect Monday, June 14, and will be effective until July 24, 2021 “unless further extended.” The issuance of the EO was based on the Department of Health (DOH) data showing the three provinces as currently having the highest number of active COVID-19 cases in the country.
