Money to support hospital s MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders Share Updated: 1:20 PM CST Feb 27, 2021 Northwestern Mutual has committed to give $5 million to Children s Wisconsin to support its MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorder.The funding will span across five years. It will support in-hospital navigator and psychosocial programs to guide patients and families through cancer diagnoses, treatment and recovery. The donation will also support patient care and a community navigator for families affected by sickle cell disease, a life-threatening blood disorder that impacts Black and African American communities at higher rates.This year, approximately 10,500 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer. Among
