Framingham State University or
Massachusetts Bay Community College.
Set to begin next fall, the Moving to College pilot is a continuation of another state effort, the Massachusetts Student Housing Security Pilot, launched in 2018. The difference between the programs is school officials will target homeless students who have just graduated high school, as opposed to those who ve been in college for several years.
City Councilor Benjamin Lamb announced via Facebook on Monday that he would not be seeking a fifth term this fall. This is a decision long in the making and due to a number of factors, but the reason I am announcing now, relatively early by most standards, is specifically because I want to help others who, for their first time, may be seeking to run for City Council, he wrote. The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts graduate was first elected in 2013, part of the wave of younger candidates who began populating the council nearly a decade ago. Lamb has consistently placed among the top vote-getters during his runs for office.

As I watch and listen to reports of the rioting in Washington DC today and the ignorant, naïve, and stupefied attempts to overturn the outcome of the November election, I am at once saddened, angered, and embarrassed that elected officials who claim to be lettered individuals have not only allowed these rioters and criminals to disrupt the Constitutional process of certifying the election but that they have incited them! This is a national embarrassment.
