BROCKTON A Milton man who fled to the Dominican Republic and was featured on the Massachusetts State Police s Most Wanted list was indicted Friday on a murder charge.
Witchael Normil, 25, of Milton, was indicted for charges related to the shooting death of Marshawn Potts, 26, of Brockton, in December 2019, according to the Plymouth County district attorney s office.
The night of Dec. 18, Brockton police and emergency medical personnel found Potts in the driveway of his West Side home at 10 Shaw Road suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary, investigators do not believe this was a random act of violence, District Attorney Timothy Cruz said in a previous statement.
