As of Monday, there are 41 outbreaks across several sectors.
Two schools are in outbreak, though all classes have been moved online until at least Jan. 4 as per an order from the health unit.
Outbreaks are active at Immaculate Conception Catholic School and St. Mary French Immersion Catholic Elementary School.
There are also three hospital outbreaks, one at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and two on different floors at Windsor Regional Hospital s Met campus.
The Salvation Army Center of Hope, Manor Lodge House, Victoria Manor Supportive Living and Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario are also in active outbreak.
There are 14 workplace outbreaks:
Six in Leamington s agriculture sector.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 141 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County as of Thursday, bringing the local total to 6,464.
Cases increased from 6,323 on Wednesday December 23rd to 6,464 on Thursday December 24th and 1,290 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.

The Health Unit says 33 cases are outbreak related, 6 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 1 cases are community acquired, and 101 cases are still being investigated.
They say 5,060 people locally have recovered (an increase of 147 recoveries today).
As of Thursday, the Health Unit is reporting nine new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the local death toll to 114. The Health Unit says:

A cohort at a Windsor Catholic elementary school is experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak after two staff cases were confirmed.
In a news release Wednesday, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit declared an outbreak at Immaculate Conception Catholic School 12 days after the school was already closed.
WINDSOR, ONT. The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak within a cohort at Immaculate Conception Catholic School. The health unit says there are at least two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in a single classroom. “As per provincial direction, a school outbreak is declared if there are two or more cases in a school and if there is evidence that at least one case could have been infected in the school,” a statement from medical officer of health Dr. Wajid Ahmed said. The entire class has already been dismissed since Dec. 18 when all Windsor-Essex schools were ordered to close. Students within the Immaculate Conception cohort have been asked to isolate for a period of 14 days and get tested for COVID-19.
